The 'slim' leads are made from 10 mm rope, and are therefor both smaller and lighter than the classic 14 mm leads. This type of lead rope is great for smaller ponies because of the decrease in weight, but can absolutely be used by all horse people with all horses!
It can be used for both groundwork, walks, and even be tied as reins — it's actually especially good for reins, as it's thinner than normal leads.
At one end of the lead is spliced ona 76 mm snap hook. At the other is an end splice, giving it a nice finish. Both splices are reinforced for optimal safety.
The lead is available i 4 standard lengths:
2 meters: standard lead rope length
3 meters: for those who prefer a little more length
3,7 meters: corresponding to the popular 12' lead, often used in the US
6,7 meters: corresponding to the popular longer 22' lead, often used in the US
Leads from Requine Rope is made from high quality rope which — of course — is 100% recycled.
Slim leads are available in the colours Checkers, Black, Navy, Neon Green, Neon Orange, Red and Beige.
All colours with the same names have the same colour in real life. Colours on the pictures can vary depending on the screen, so it's not guaranteed that the colour you see on your screen is the exact same as in real life.
