Sustainable Lunge / Long Line

This product can be used both as a lunge for the horse, but also a long line/tracking leash for the dog.

 

The line is a 5-20 meter long flat, and very light leash with a handle at one end and a snap hook at the other.

For the horse, it's perfect for lungeing because it's far lighter than the leads from Requine Rope, and the many meters neither weight much or take up much space.

It's also perfect for giving the dog "off-leash" time, while still being physically connected to the dog just in case something were to happen. The dog will feel like it's loose, as the line is long and light.

Besides that, it's perfect for taking both horses and dogs for e.g. walks in forests where there is space to lets the horse or dog explore, but it's not legal or possible to actually have them loose.

NB: Because the "smooth" rope is thinner than the "normal" rope, it's also lighter. So if you want a super lightweight line, it might be a good idea to choose a "smooth" colour, and if you want a tad more weight, then choose a "normal" colour.

 

The line is available in many lengths, which is measured including handle and snap. Below is a description of each, so you can the one that suits you and your four-legged friend the best:
5 meters: Typical length on a short tracking leash or lunge.
6 meters: Perfect if you think "normal" lunge lines are a bit too long.
8 meters: Standard length for lunge lines.
10 meters: Typically the normal length for tracking lines, also perfect if you think "normal" lunge lines are too short. This is also the length shown in the pictures.
15 meters: Typical long tracking line, great for providing both horse and dog with extra space.
20 meters: Extra long line.

 

If you need another length than these, I happily do custom sizes as well, where the price is based off the length.

 

The lunge / long line is of course also sustainable: the rope is 100% recycled and the snap hook is made from 100% stainless steel. It's spliced and sewn onto the leash, and that doesn't only look good, but ensures that neither the leash nor the hook breaks!

 

The line is made from flat rPET rope, that has a great size and feel for a human hand. It has no core and is therefore lightweight and takes up very little space. However, the snap is a bit heavy due to the high quality, and is not recommended for small dogs.

 

Leashes from Requine Rope are made from high quality rope which — of course — is 100% recycled.

The lunge / long line is available in two types of rope: normal and smooth. The "smooth" rope has a smoother surface end the normal rope.
The normal rope is available in the colours: Checkers, Black, Navy, Red, Neon Orange, Neon Green and Beige.
The smooth rope is available in the colours: Tartan Beige, Pink Mix, Pink, Yellow, Dark Maroon, Pink and Denim Blue.

 

All colours with the same names have the same colour in real life. Colours on the pictures can vary depending on the screen, so it's not guaranteed that the colour you see on your screen is the exact same as in real life.
