The crossunder rope halter has to straps crossing under the jaw and going through the rings on the noseband, where the reins are attached.
In this way, the pressure from the rein is distributed to the underside of the head, and less over the nose. This makes it ideal for horses that are more sensitive to pressure on the nosebridge.
The noseband on this halter is adjustable, and is therefore the most similar to a (bitless) bridle of all the rope halters we have.
